Welcome to ContractorBeds.com (TM). We are a proudly South African website, run by The JoMel Group. We've been accommodating contractors, shopfitters and other groups nationwide since 2007, offering short term group accommodation and long term accommodation.

Over the last few years we've realized that there is a great need for a website dedicated to accommodating contractors, shopfitters and miners throughout the South Africa as many major infrastructure developments are being planned for Botswana, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland and  Zimbabwe within the SADC region and further up into Africa.
Infrastructure improvements and developments are being made in roads, energy, railways, telecommunication, ports, etc.

Most contractor companies spend hours online trying to source suitable accommodation, catering, building materials, transport, tools etc. At Contractor Beds (TM) we endeavour to provide contact numbers, links, and information to contracting companies and thereby make their jobs that much easier.

Backpacker Hostels - Workers

Our Backpacker Hostels are available in most cities and near most large projects throughout Southern Africa. This hostel accommodation is ideal for general workers and a supervisor in a single room or sharing with a senior worker. This accommodation caters to groups who need to share bathrooms, kitchens and lounge or recreation areas.

Rates:
Single Room: 1 x single bed = From R200 per night (long-stay)
Twin Room: 2 x single or bunk-bed = From R200 per night (long-stay)
Triple Room: 3 x single or bunk beds = From R450 per night (long-stay)
Dorms Rooms: 4-20 single or bunk beds = From  R100 per person per night (long-stay)

Facilities:
Communal self catering kitchenettes, shared bathrooms and shared lounges are available where various groups will share facilities but workers will usually have their own rooms.

Self Catering - Technicians

Our Self Catering Technician Units are available in most cities and near most large projects throughout Southern Africa. This accommodation is ideal for technicians and junior managers with 1 or 2  men per room with own bathrooms.

Rooms:
Single Room: 1 x single bed = From R400 per night (long-stay)
Twin Unit: 2 x single bed = From R600 per night (long-stay)

Facilities:
Usually includes a private self catering kitchenette and small lounge and TV in unit.

Self Catering - Managers

Our Self Catering Manager Units are available in most cities and near most large projects throughout Southern Africa. This accommodation is ideal for managers and project managers with 1 person per unit with own kitchenette, lounge and bathroom.

Rooms:
Single Room: 1 x single bed = From R550 per night (long-stay)

Facilities:
These units include a private self catering kitchenette and small lounge, DStv in unit.
